We have staff employed full-time to manage our health and safety systems. Regular inspections of our contractor workforce, health and safety meetings, inductions, prequalifying new contractors and always following up and investigating incidents are all part of ensuring our systems are working.
Coordinating and consulting with contractors on site is a top priority for our supervisors who carry out documented pre-start checks including risk ID and assessment, hazard management, emergency planning and the provision of safe access.
FMNZ enforce a strict Drug and Alcohol Policy which includes carrying out testing on all personnel to ensure we maintain a safe working environment.
