Health and safety on-site
Ensuring everyone comes home each night is at the forefront of our business, creating a safe working environment begins with a positive safety culture backed by robust systems and processes.
We have staff employed full-time to manage our health and safety systems. Regular inspections of our contractor workforce, health and safety meetings, inductions, prequalifying new contractors and always following up and investigating incidents are all part of ensuring our systems are working.
Coordinating and consulting with contractors on site is a top priority for our supervisors who carry out documented pre-start checks including risk ID and assessment, hazard management, emergency planning and the provision of safe access.
FMNZ enforce a strict Drug and Alcohol Policy which includes carrying out testing on all personnel to ensure we maintain a safe working environment.
FMNZ strongly believe no job is too important or minor that it cannot be done safely. It is our objective to provide and maintain a workplace that is safe and healthy for all workers and visitors.
