FMNZ is committed to supporting the communities in which we operate. We invest time and resources into initiatives that create long-lasting, positive impact.
Partnering with local schools, community groups and organisations, we support initiatives such as equipping school buses with radio transmitters, supporting projects like the Kererū, and providing recreational access to forests for clubs and special interest groups.
These activities not only enhance the wellbeing of the regions we work in but also reinforce our responsibility as custodians of the land – helping to protect biodiversity, support local employment, and build resilient, engaged communities for future generations.

Hawkes Bay Rescue Helicopter
FMNZ proudly supports the Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust.
A registered charity, the Trust was established to provide a dedicated Rescue Helicopter service to the Hawke’s Bay.
Our funding helps this vital service respond to emergencies and save lives across the region.
‘Wood is Good’ is a forestry and log transport programme developed for primary schools in New Zealand and funded by sector groups and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
An array of activities, publications and demonstrations are delivered to primary aged students to educate them on the valuable benefits of forestry.
